190/Eight (8) hours daily

REPORTS TO:
System Lead Nurse
Primary Function: The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide assistance to schools in managing the special health care and medical needs which affect a student’s ability to be successful in school.
Position will remain posted until filled.
Requirements- Educational Level: High School Diploma/GED
- Licenses/Certifications
Required:
Hold a current license by the Georgia Board of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse; current CPR/AED and First Aid certification required. (Upload a copy of your current license/certification.) - Experience: Minimum of three years experience in public health, hospital or related medical facility; pediatric school nursing experience desired.

Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities. - Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Ability to provide specialized nursing services; skills in health assessment of children and young adults; skills in training and performance of health related procedures; excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to work well with community, school personnel, students and parents.
- Associate degree preferred.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
