Role
Coordinates quality nursing care for patients across the lifespan, manages operational issues during shift, and provides clinical care as needed.
ResponsibilitiesEnsures delivery of safe, effective nursing care, communicates patient and departmental concerns to leadership, and serves as a resource for staff guidance and support.
Qualifications- Graduate from an accredited nursing school;
Bachelor's degree preferred. - Minimum 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred.
- Active RN license (state or multistate), BCLS, and advanced certifications such as ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, and fetal monitoring are required.
- Additional certifications like PEARS and specialty certifications may be needed depending on unit.
