Overview

The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They operate within organizational policies, demonstrating professional growth and accountability. The role includes maintaining practice standards and coordinating patient care activities among staff to ensure quality nursing services.

Graduate of a nursing program with eligibility for new graduates. Must hold a current Registered Nurse license in Georgia or a multistate license (NLC/eNLC). BLS certification is required. Preferred qualifications include hospital experience, a bachelor’s degree, and advanced specialty certifications. PRN positions favor candidates with at least one year of hospital nursing experience.
