Charge RN - MedSurg

Coordinates the delivery of high-quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle, manages operational issues during shifts, and provides clinical support as needed based on census demands. Acts as a resource and communicates patient care, departmental concerns, and staff issues to leadership.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program;
  Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred.
• Valid RN licensure (state-specific or multistate), BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Additional certifications such as chemotherapy/biotherapy, NRP, AWHONN fetal monitoring, PEARS, and specialty certifications may be required depending on the unit.
• Emergency Department nurses must obtain PALS within 30 days if not already certified.

Deliver clinical care, coordinate patient services, communicate departmental issues, and serve as a staff resource to ensure quality nursing care and operational efficiency.
