Role Overview:
Coordinates and delivers high-quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle, managing operational issues during shifts. Provides clinical care as needed based on census demands and communicates patient, departmental, and staff concerns to leadership. Acts as a resource and guide for nursing staff.
Qualifications:- Graduate from an accredited nursing school;
Bachelor's Degree preferred - Minimum 1 year of hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred
- Valid RN license in Georgia or multistate license (NLC/eNCL)
- Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, PEARS; additional specialty certifications as applicable
- Completion of AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 12 months for Women’s Services; PALS within 30 days for Emergency Department nurses
Ensuring quality patient care, addressing operational issues, serving as a staff resource, and communicating effectively with leadership and team members.
