Registered Nurse – IR​/Special Procedures

$2502.40/week –

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced IR Nurse with stroke thrombectomy expertise to provide specialized care in an interventional radiology setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to manage complex neurological procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-procedure assessments and ensure patient readiness for stroke thrombectomy procedures.
• Administer medications and sedation as needed, following protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort throughout procedures, responding swiftly to any changes.
• Collaborate with interventional radiology team to ensure safe and efficient procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, procedures, and outcomes in Epic.
• Comply with all safety and infection control standards, including current certifications.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license in Georgia or a Compact state.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience, preferably in IR or neurovascular interventions.
• Proven stroke thrombectomy experience with Epic EMR proficiency.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; NIHSS certification preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
