Job Opportunity – Endoscopy Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Augusta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36-hour work week consisting of two 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM) and two 8-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM). Call requirements include one weekday call per week and one weekend call per 6-week schedule. Expected to work 2-3 weekends per contract.

Highlights:

• Advanced endoscopy procedures including ERCP with Spy Glass, EBUS, bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, EGD, and ION procedures
• 11-bed unit with 3 procedure rooms and average daily census of 20 patients
• Epic EMR system with Pyxis medication management
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
• 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio in a well-equipped endoscopy setting
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year of experience

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Georgia or Compact state license accepted)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of endoscopy nursing experience; ERCP experience is required
• Demonstrated competency in pre/post procedure care, circulating, and scrub tech responsibilities
• Experience with conscious sedation administration and monitoring
• Proficiency with Epic charting system preferred
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered); COVID-19 vaccine not required
