Shift: 2nd Shift – Monday to Thursday, 3:30 pm to 2:00 am

What You Will DoAt Pratt & Whitney's Columbus Engine Center, precision is critical to delivering safe, reliable, and high-performing aircraft engines. As a Calibration Technician, you will help maintain the accuracy and reliability of tools, gauges, fixtures, and measurement equipment used throughout the overhaul process. Your work will support compliance with quality standards, minimize production downtime, and uphold operational excellence.
Responsibilities- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of gauges and order replacements as needed.
- Coordinate with vendors performing calibration of equipment to minimize downtime.
- Maintain calibration record databases to meet or exceed procedural and regulatory standards.
- Track all calibration due dates and ensure all items are properly recorded to prevent nonconformances.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, maintenance, quality, inspection, mechanical, electrical, technical, or related industrial environments.
- Experience calibrating precision measurement equipment in a manufacturing, aerospace, aviation, automotive, military, or industrial environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work with tight tolerances using precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, height stands, gauge blocks, sine plates, and angle plates.
- Skill applying mathematical concepts such as algebra, geometry, and trigonometry to calibration and measurement activities.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and SAP.
