We are hiring a CMM Programmer for our client in Midland, GA. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in CMM programming, metrology, and aerospace manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, edit, and validate CMM programs using Camio/Calypso.
- Perform dimensional inspection of complex aerospace engine components.
- Interpret GD&T, engineering drawings, 3D CAD/MBD models, and OEM specifications.
- Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102.
- Generate accurate inspection reports and measurement results.
- Troubleshoot dimensional and measurement issues.
- Develop CMM templates, macros, and VB scripts to improve inspection efficiency.
- Perform correlation studies, repeatability checks, SPC/MSA, and support continuous improvement.
- Maintain CMM calibration, programs, fixtures, and inspection documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Metallurgical, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5+ years of CMM programming/metrology experience.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, and 3D model interpretation.
- Experience with Calypso, Camio, Hexagon, or PC-DMIS.
- Aerospace or precision manufacturing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, SPC, MSA, and MBD.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
