About The Position

To assist the Restaurant Supervisor in ensuring that all patrons have an orderly, attractive, comfortable, and clean environment in which they can dine, all the while looking for opportunities to minister to their needs, and to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with them. The individual should have a real passion for God's health message, and for preparing and serving attractive, nutritious, plant‑based food to those who are looking to improve or regain their health of body, mind and spirit.

This person will also understand that man has a body as well as a soul to save.

• Assist in preparation of hot food and salad bar items as needed
• Serve food, weigh salad bar items, write customer tickets as needed
• Maintain food safety certification and ensure compliance to all food service rules and regulations, especially hot and cold holding temps
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout service
• Cut and package fresh desserts
• Assist with food prep for following day
• Clean restaurant and kitchen after lunch hours
• Dispose of trash
• Assist in monitoring inventory for food and supplies needed for all restaurant functions
• Assist with proper storage of all food purchased
• Assist with proper storage of all supplies ordered
• Assist with training work‑study personnel and interns as needed
• Assist with special‑event catering for churches, schools, customers
• Empty/clean grease trap bi‑weekly
