Vision Center Manager L1

Position Summary

The Vision Center Manager drives sales and ensures effective product presentation, pricing, inventory management, budgeting, and forecasting. The manager models customer service approaches, resolves member complaints, and enforces company policies and legal regulations. They oversee safety, quality assurance, and asset protection, provide coaching and development for associates, and ensure quality eyewear provision through member consultations and optical procedures.

• Drive sales by managing merchandise presentation, accurate competitive pricing, proper signage, inventory levels, and forecasting.
• Model and coach associates on customer and member service techniques to resolve concerns within company guidelines.
• Implement community outreach programs and encourage associate participation.
• Ensure compliance with company and legal policies through reporting, asset protection, safety controls, and quality assurance reviews.
• Develop and execute action plans to improve performance, provide direction on company programs, and maintain confidentiality of records.
• Supervise, train, mentor, and recognize associates, promoting a belonging mindset.
• Consult with members to select products, obtain measurements, verify prescriptions, perform minor frame repair, and maintain optical equipment.
• Support the Open Door Policy by listening to associate concerns, reviewing policies, and recommending solutions.
• Coordinate job-related activities, manage stakeholder relationships, set goals, measure progress, and address improvement opportunities.
• Act with integrity, promote ethical conduct, and support the company's regenerative mission.

• Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year retail experience and 1 year supervisory experience OR 2 years general work experience including 1 year optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules.

• Experience supervising associates.
