We are a privately owned community oriented company. This location, operated by Convenience Stores Inc - a subsidiary of Jones Petroleum, is looking for highly skilled, self‑motivated individuals looking to assist in our growing retail operation.
ResponsibilitiesMeat Market Managers are responsible for ensuring the meat section of the store is well stocked and orderly in appearance, with a focus on food safety and food presentation. Managers oversee the meat clerks who handle meat prep, cutting, wrapping, stocking, and rotation of stock, and perform any other duties as assigned by a member of management.
Education- High School or equivalent
- Previous grocery experience preferred; ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction. Good communication skills and good personal grooming habits required.
- OSHA knowledge as applies to the meat market area and ensuring safety of meat clerks.
All employees are hired as temporary employees until the introductory period has elapsed. Temporary employees are not eligible for any benefits during the introductory period. This position is subject to a 90‑day introductory period, during which performance will be reviewed.

Requirements Availability- Evenings, weekends, and the ability to work varied hours and days based on the needs of the business.

- Crew schedules are determined by business needs; therefore all schedules must be flexible.
- Physical requirements include standing up to 8 hours during a shift, lifting up to 60 pounds, bending, stooping, and climbing a ladder on occasion.
- Requires motion that involves pushing, pulling, stretching and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists.
