Retail Account Executive – Columbus, GA / Montgomery, AL

Join Toast as a founding team member helping to launch the Toast Retail platform into convenience stores, grocery stores, and bottle shops. You will develop a consultative, entrepreneurial sales approach to grow Toast’s presence in this new vertical.

• Use a consultative approach to prospect, build relationships, and sign up new convenience stores, grocery stores, and bottle shops.
• Generate lists of prospective accounts and manage the entire sales cycle from initial call to close.
• Conduct demos and develop solutions that best meet each prospect’s unique needs.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure expectations set during the sales process are met in delivery.
• Leverage Salesforce to manage all sales activities.
• Understand the competitive landscape and position Toast effectively in the market.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills with the ability to sell and negotiate at all decision‑making levels.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.

• Residency in or proximity to the assigned market and willingness to travel 25% or more.

• Retail operations experience.

The role is based in Columbus, GA and Montgomery, AL with 25%+ travel.

Estimated Total Targeted Cash compensation range: $129,000–$206,000 USD (inclusive of base, commission, benefits, and equity if eligible). This role qualifies for uncapped commissions.
