Job Summary
The Inside Vehicles Sales Manager will work marketing qualified leads, self-generated leads, and other lead sources to maximize retail sales and promote customer satisfaction initiatives. The role focuses on maximizing proceeds and gains on used vehicles, generating first‑time customers, establishing repeat buyers, increasing speed to market, and maximizing ancillary products and revenue, including warranty, financing, pre‑paid Select Care options, and other related products.
The manager will also work with the Wholesale Manager to dispose of older inventory, refer leads to the wholesale arena, and collaborate with BU Maintenance and Asset Managers to proactively market units nearing the end of term. Feedback will be given regarding market conditions, pricing trends, and other variables that impact used vehicle inventory levels and pricing.
- Call and email marketing qualified leads – web, referrals, warm leads, call‑ins.
- Call self‑generated leads utilizing various industry resources.
- Generate first‑time buyers by aggressively marketing the previously mentioned lead sources.
- Establish repeat buyers by enhancing the customer experience.
- Increase speed to market by streamlining processes and procedures.
- Enhance the retail experience by proactive communication and prompt follow‑up.
- Maximize ancillary product revenue: warranty, financing, Select Care.
- Work with field counterparts to minimize inventory holding time.
- Prepare efficient paperwork: bill of sale, title, warranty forms, etc.
- Communicate proactively with Asset Management and Vehicle Sales Management.
- Identify customers/prospects that fit the wholesale/export arena with the Wholesale/Export team.
- Additional responsibilities as requested by Management to meet the evolving needs of the prospect/customer base.

- Self‑starter with detailed‑oriented follow‑up practices.
- Effective negotiation skills and understanding of the negotiation process.
- General knowledge and prior usage of CRM systems – intermediate preferred.
- H.S. diploma/GED required;
Bachelor’s degree preferred. - Post‑secondary education with emphasis on marketing and sales preferred.
- Three (3) years or more sales‑related experience required.
- General knowledge and prior usage of CRM systems – intermediate preferred.
- DOT Regulated compliance required.
Pay Type:
Salaried. Minimum Pay Range: $50,000. Maximum Pay Range: $50,000. Compensation may be influenced by experience, education, location, market data, internal equity and salary ranges. Position may be eligible for an annual bonus, commission, and/or long‑term incentive plan based on level and type.
