Job Summary
We are seeking a Vascular District Manager who will lead sales and talent development across a specified district. The role involves building new accounts, driving adoption of the full vascular product portfolio, and managing a field sales team.
Responsibilities- Plan, direct, and lead all sales and sales training activities for the district.
- Consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Develop and execute accurate, ongoing sales plans to achieve objectives.
- Maintain and grow market share across all product lines.
- Leverage the full product portfolio to maximize district sales revenue.
- Develop and implement business strategy for revenue and profitability.
- Manage, coach, develop, retain, and evaluate field employees.
- Hire, train, and retain field personnel within the district.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback through quarterly field rides.
- Lead performance management discussions and quarterly/annual reviews.
- Collaborate with Area Director of Sales on quota establishment, compensation plans, and program implementation.
- Ensure district team collaborates effectively with internal partners.
- Monitor and control district expenses.
- Maintain ethical conduct and communicate company business conduct policies.
- Maintain high product and customer knowledge and build strong relationships with key accounts.
- Attend clinical meetings, seminars, and conferences as appropriate.
- Leverage local Clinical Specialist resources to support vascular business growth.
- Work closely with vascular leadership and strategic accounts teams to ensure contracts are leveraged for growth.
- Complete required administrative work on time.
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of professional medical device sales experience, OR advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years sales and leadership experience.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel domestically over 50% of the time.
- Ability to lift 20 pounds and work in Cath Labs or OR with radiation exposure.
- Prior experience leading field sales teams in the medical device industry.
- Local qualified candidates or those with Medtronic experience preferred.
- Track record of success in medical device sales.
- Experience with sales and personnel management functions.
- Knowledge of pacing or interventional cardiology customer base.
- Additional experience in marketing, training, technical services or related areas.
Job Requirements
Employee is required to be independently mobile, lift up to 20 pounds, travel domestically over 50% of the time, and work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.
