The Sales Specialist for Machine Control Solutions is responsible for driving sales growth and customer adoption of Hyundai Construction OEM and Topcon GPS Machine Control systems across North America. This position combines technical expertise with consultative sales skills to deliver value to dealers and end users.
Primary Responsibilities- Lead sales initiatives for Hyundai Construction OEM and Topcon GPS Machine Control systems.
- Provide expert product demonstrations and technical support to dealers and customers.
- Develop and deliver targeted training programs to enhance dealer and customer capabilities.
- Advise on product selection and application to maximize customer ROI.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored solutions for client needs.
- Represent Hyundai at industry events, trade shows, and dealer meetings as the subject matter expert.
- Achieve targeted year-over-year increases in machine control system sales volume and revenue.
- Expand dealer and customer adoption rates in targeted regions.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction and repeat business rates.
- Track the number of dealer/customer training sessions delivered and resulting competency improvements.
- Monitor and improve the percentage of qualified leads converted to sales.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all sales activities and customer interactions.
- Record and analyze wins against key competitors in the market.
- Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to inform sales strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in CRM systems.
- Travel up to 60% to support dealers and customers throughout the US and Canada.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales of machine technology or related equipment.
- Strong presentation, communication, and consultative selling skills.
- Ability to deliver sales training and support to diverse audiences.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
- Experience with construction or agricultural equipment is an advantage.
- Primarily field-based role with frequent travel. Preferred homebase in the Atlanta metro area.
- Requires work on active construction sites and at industry events.
