Great American Employer Health Solutions is seeking a Sales Specialist to join its team focusing on Level Funded group health programs. The position is fully remote for employees located anywhere in the continental United States, with applicants from CA, AL, WA, HI, and NY excluded.
Position offers a base salary of $75,000 plus commission.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and agencies in the assigned territory through phone calls, webinars, seminars, and in-person meetings.
- Drive sales efforts by managing the end-to-end process, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for brokers and their clients.
- Expand the Great American Employer Health Solutions footprint by identifying and pursuing growth opportunities within the territory.
- Develop and manage broker partnerships, deepening engagement and expanding the network of contacts.
- Become a subject matter expert in group health benefits and markets, offering strategic insights and guidance to brokers and agency partners in the assigned territory.
- Blended education: A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
- Professional experience:
Preferably 2+ years, especially in Group Health Level Funded sales or marketing; other sales backgrounds will also be considered. - Licensing:
Must be able to obtain a Life and Health license in applicable states. - Team orientation:
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment with a strong desire for career growth and development. - Travel:
Willingness to travel up to 15% to engage with agents and brokers within the assigned territory.
