Job SummaryWTVM-TV, part of Gray Media, Inc, in Columbus, GA, is looking for a results‑driven Multimedia Sales Manager who will lead the local sales team to achieve revenue goals and develop long‑term client relationships using multi‑platform advertising solutions. Digital sales and traditional media experience required.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with management to achieve station objectives.
- Motivate the local sales team to meet or exceed digital and local direct revenue goals.
- Manage, direct, and train sales executives and assistants for maximum performance.
- Assist Media Executives in preparing, presenting, and closing business.
- Recruit and hire top performers.
- Negotiate ratings, rates, and budgets.
- Maintain professional relationships with clients.
- Oversee accounts receivable.
- Assist in inventory management.
- Accurately forecast sales revenue for the team.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 3–5 years of advertising sales experience.
- Minimum 3 years of sales management experience.
- Proven leadership ability to work independently, think ahead, and implement action items.
- Ability to promote a positive, result‑oriented culture that supports media executives and clients.
- Strong multitasking ability in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
- Competitive, energetic, self‑starter.
- Experience with Wide Orbit Traffic, Wide Orbit Media Sales, and Matrix is a plus.
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record. MVR check required at hire and monitored continuously.
