A fast-growing international manufacturer of high-performance conveying and material handling components is seeking a motivated, results-driven Regional Sales Manager to support continued growth across the U.S. market.

The company provides innovative solutions used by leading organizations in the food and beverage, packaging, logistics, automation, and industrial manufacturing sectors. Its product offering includes modular belting, plastic and steel chain, sprockets, guide rails, support structures, bearings, curves, and related conveyor components.

This is a strong opportunity for a proven outside sales professional who enjoys building new business, developing customer relationships, and representing a premium technical product line in a growing market.

Position Summary

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and expanding business within an assigned territory, with a focus on OEMs, system integrators, conveyor builders, distributors, and end users.

This is a hunter-focused sales role ideal for someone who is comfortable prospecting, conducting in-person customer visits, identifying technical needs, and working closely with internal support teams to deliver solutions that improve line performance, reliability, and efficiency.

The selected candidate will be supported by experienced technical specialists, customer service representatives, marketing resources, and company leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, system integrators, conveyor builders, distributors, and end users.
  • Conduct in-person customer visits, sales presentations, technical discussions, and product demonstrations.
  • Evaluate customer needs and recommend solutions that support improved conveyor performance, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with customer service, engineering, technical support, and operations teams to ensure a smooth customer experience from inquiry through project execution.
  • Manage sales forecasting, pipeline development, CRM activity, and territory planning.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the company’s product portfolio, including modular belts, chains, sprockets, specialty materials, extruded profiles, bearings, curves, and conveyor-related components.
  • Represent the company professionally at trade shows, industry events, customer meetings, and distributor visits.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to support continued growth in the territory.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of B2B outside sales experience.
  • Experience selling industrial components, conveyor systems, automation products, packaging equipment, material handling solutions, or related technical products preferred.
  • Existing relationships in the food and beverage, logistics, packaging, automation, OEM, or distribution markets are a plus.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and explain mechanical components and application-based solutions.
  • Proven ability to prospect, build relationships, manage a territory, and close new business.
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication, presentation, organization, and follow-through skills.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50–75% within the assigned territory.
