Job Description As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Unit in Columbus, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service.

06:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, production areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Support security-related operations in a highly regulated aerospace and defense location by following post orders, maintaining awareness of restricted areas, and communicating clearly with staff, visitors, and supervisors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an EMT certification.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• A CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
