Job Summary

Live Nation Entertainment is seeking a Security team member to guard, patrol, and monitor venue premises to prevent theft, violence, or rule infractions. The position may involve operating metal detector equipment.

• Circulate among guests and employees to preserve safety, order, and protect venue property.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, unauthorized presence, or unusual occurrences.
• Patrol premises to prevent and detect intrusions and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Escort or drive the vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations or provide personal protection.
• Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited items into restricted areas.
• Warn persons of rule infractions or violations and apprehend or evict violators from premises.
• Greet guests, scan guest tickets upon entry, answer questions, assist with locating seats, and examine tickets for entry to various seat levels during the event.
• Assist in keeping the venue safe, clean, and presentable to guests.
• Resolve guest complaints or problems.
• Examine tickets or passes to verify authenticity.
• Assist guests with special needs such as seat accommodations.
• Show care by participating in venue recycling efforts before, during, and after the show.
• Guide guests to exits or provide instructions during emergency.
• Assist in verifying staff credentials to generally restricted areas.
• Participate in venue sustainability program, including waste sorting and educating fans.
• Partner with fellow band members post‑show to close the venue, collecting recyclables, and handling event equipment.
• Assist patrons by giving directions inside or outside the venue.
• Ensure guests safely enjoy the show.
• Perform additional tasks as requested by management.

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Security/Law Enforcement experience preferred;
  Guard Card a plus.
• Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices, and enforcement procedures.
• Ability to perform duties professionally and make independent sound judgments within policy and procedures.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
• Strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs.
• Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs. or more, and occasional sitting.
