Job Overview
This position involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of pumps, valves, and other plant process systems associated with Water Reclamation Facilities. Responsibilities include mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting, emergency repairs, scheduled maintenance, preventive maintenance, and system overhauls.
Essential DutiesMay serve as a lead to staff to assign and monitor work, provide direction, and help with safe construction site management.
- Perform installations, repairs, and general maintenance of mechanical systems.
- Prepare materials and cost estimates for projects.
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine repairs.
- Maintain supplies and equipment levels.
- Assist with safe construction site management.
- Perform other duties of a similar nature or level.
Job Requirements
- Pre‑employment and random drug and alcohol testing (safety sensitive).
- May require on‑call rotation and emergency after‑hours, weekends, and/or holidays.
- High School Diploma or GED plus two years of related trades experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) obtained within 12 months of employment.
- High School Diploma or GED plus four years of related trades experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) obtained within 12 months of employment.
- High School Diploma or GED plus five years of progressively responsible related trades experience (some supervisory), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) obtained within 12 months of employment.
- Valid Georgia Driver’s License.
