As a Hitch Service Technician, you will work in U-Haul Moving and Storage Center lots, providing outstanding service to customers using your technical expertise. You will be responsible for understanding and explaining U-Haul’s variety of towing packages, recommending and installing the right tow package on customer vehicles, and providing exceptional customer service and support to U-Haul customers. Other duties include participating in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.

- Recommend and install the right tow package on customer vehicles

- Participate in ongoing continuous U‑Haul education through U-Haul University
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain a good driving record
- Basic wiring and hand/power tool experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
The work involves moderate risks or discomforts that require special safety precautions, such as working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or irritating chemicals. Protective clothing, masks, goggles, gloves, or shields may be required.
Physical DemandsThe job requires some physical exertion, including long periods both indoors and outdoors of remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs, assisted or unassisted.
