Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Electrician/ Electrician Installation
About the Role
Repairing, performing daily and monthly planned maintenance on equipment comprised of electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components. This position works directly in the maintenance department and is a 2nd shift (4x10 M-Thurs 2:00p–12:30a).
Responsibilities- Repair, service and/or calibrate complex electronic and electrical systems utilizing hard wire or computerized controls, power distribution systems, instrumentation and a variety of other electrical and electronic equipment.
- Work from drawings, service manuals when available and a description of the way the equipment acted in troubleshooting.
- Make tests and repair equipment comprised of electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components.
- Use test instruments such as oscilloscopes, recorders, and digital measuring equipment to identify faulty circuits and resolve problems.
- Replace or substitute devices such as amplifiers, logic cards, memory units, feedback devices, high voltage switches, printed circuit boards and make necessary adjustments.
- Perform related duties as may be necessary to support the needs of the business.
- Demonstrate commitment to the EH&S and continuous improvement programs by complying with all policies and procedures, completing all required training, and supporting all applicable committee activities.
- Roles strengthen support for the machining cell and overall operations.
- Improve coverage for PMs and provide faster response to equipment issues.
- Enhance equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Support team morale, continuity, and clearer daily leadership.
- HS Diploma or GED
- U.S. citizenship is required
- 2 years or more industrial maintenance working directly with machines (doing both electrical and mechanical)
- Experience working with Microsoft Office
