Lead Commercial/Industrial HVAC Technician
Location: Columbus, GA
Job Type: Full-time, Year-Round
Pay: $45 - $55 per hour + $2k Sign-On Bonus
Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced, high-end Commercial/Industrial HVAC Technician to join our growing team. This is a stable, year-round career opportunity with guaranteed 40-hour work weeks. The ideal candidate is self‑motivated and possesses a strong work ethic. You will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting HVAC equipment for high‑end commercial customers.

- Perform preventative maintenance and service on Commercial and Industrial HVAC equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues in a timely manner.
- Work with others to solve customer issues, demonstrating strong communication skills with both customers and fellow employees.
- Finish jobs professionally and efficiently, with minimal to no supervision.
- Be available for an on‑call rotation every five weeks.
- At least 4-5 years of experience as a Commercial/Industrial HVAC Technician.
- Experience with commercial package units ranging from 15 to 50 tons.
- Experience with chillers, boilers, and controls automation is preferred.
- Specific experience with Trane CGAM or similar screw/scroll compressor setups is highly desired.
- EPA Section 608 Universal Certification is preferred but not required.
- Proficient troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
- Reliable, customer‑oriented, and a strong work ethic.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening, background check, and Motor Vehicle Record check.
