Amteck Technologies is hiring a Low Voltage Superintendent for local and traveling roles in Houston, TX, with opportunities for nationwide travel.
Requirements- 5+ years installing and terminating optical fiber cable, Cat 6A, Cat 6, Cat 5E and coax cable in commercial and/or industrial environments
- Ability to install, terminate, program, and troubleshoot access control systems, intrusion detection systems, and CCTV systems in commercial and industrial environments
- Knowledge of NEC and ANSI/TIA standards
- Experience programming and commissioning new systems, as well as performing customer training
- Must be able to read blueprints, specifications, and contract documents
- Certifications with any of the following manufacturers preferred but not required:
- Avigilon
- S2
- Lenel - DSX
- Gallagher
- Identicard
- Paxton
- RS2
- Certification with Avigilon or S2-Lenel strongly preferred
- BICSI Certification desired but not required
