Job Summary
The Field Service Technician is responsible for executing field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner. This includes troubleshooting, working with mechanical, electrical, and diesel equipment, conducting preventive maintenance, managing parts inventory, and identifying and remedying safety issues on company and customer owned equipment. The role requires direct customer interface and may involve work at multiple sites and with multiple technologies.

- Work independently when necessary, although usually supervised.
- Some travel required.
- 20%-80% travel depending on division & location (overnight stays, away from home).
- Driver Application for Employment.
- Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
- Driver Disclosure and Release.
- Employee Applicant Drug and Alcohol Statement.
- FMCSA Certificate of Awareness.
- Driver Certificate of Violations.
- Driver Statement of On Duty Hours Road Test.
- Copy of Driver’s License.
- Copy of Medical Certificate.
- Experience with tandem trailers 20’ and 24’. Able to load, pull, and back up behind 3/4 ton or larger service trucks.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Capability to obtain a CDL, class A or B with applicable endorsements.
- Ability to obtain all required customer clearances (TWIC, DISA, etc.).
- Ability to obtain DOT Medical card.
- Clean driving record.
- Preferred: 0–2 years of technical work experience, 1 year preferred, within industrial water filtration systems.
- Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, diesel, or fusion (depending on business unit).
- Ability to work without direct supervision.
- Technically sound and troubleshooting skilled.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and smart devices.
- Customer service experience.
- Demonstrates critical thinking and problem‑solving ability.
- Can synthesize technical information and communicate it clearly.
- Derives insight from customer experience to produce outcomes and solve problems in novel ways.
