Production Associate

Based in St. Louis, Core & Main is a leader in advancing reliable infrastructure with local service nationwide. As a specialty distributor focused on water, wastewater, storm drainage and fire protection products, Core & Main provides solutions to municipalities, private water companies and professional contractors across municipal, non‑residential and residential end markets nationwide.

Ensures the company's facility needs are met by providing services and maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operations of all equipment.

• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignment.
• Cleans and maintains supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Cleans and lubricates parts of machinery.
• Installs and/or repairs wiring and electrical components.
• Paints and repairs woodwork and plaster.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in maintenance or repair.
• High school diploma or GED, strongly preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience in the area of responsibility.

• Work in a comfortable indoor area; occasional unpleasant conditions are infrequent and not objectionable.
• Occasional overnight travel, less than 10% of the time.
• Intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting and maneuvering material or equipment.
