Job TitleMake Ready Assistant, Multifamily
Job SummaryThe Make Ready Assistant provides support and is accountable for delivering on our commitments to our residents. The Make Ready Assistant helps in maintaining the community and assists others in the completion of Market-Ready apartments, exterior maintenance, and common areas of the property.
Responsibilities- Assist in preparation of the market-ready apartments, including painting, carpet cleaning, general repairs, drywall repairs, vinyl and ceramic tile replacement.
- Assist staff in various projects as needed, such as disposal of trash, debris, and snow (if applicable).
- Perform exterior light bulb replacement, grounds equipment maintenance and repair, installation and removal of external signage and decorations.
- Maintain grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities to keep them clean, operational, and safe for residents.
- Report any maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Attend and participate in all required training programs.
- Deliver communications to residents as needed.
- Provide superior customer service and represent the Cushman & Wakefield brand professionally at all times.
- Adhere to uniform and professional appearance standards.
- Maintain all safety procedures and safeguard company tools and equipment.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Knowledge of hand tools
- Professional and courteous
- Able to take direction and follow instructions
- Handle emergencies and work flexible hours including late, early
- Practice all safety protocols
- Team player and lead by example
- High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school
- Some experience in related field
This role operates in a professional office environment, using standard office equipment. Employees are regularly required to travel between properties in varying weather conditions.
Physical DemandsStand and walk for extended periods, ascend/descend stairs, ladders, and step stools, travel outside between buildings. Ability to remain in a stationary position 85% of time. Travel up to 5% of time. Ability to exert up to 25 pounds occasionally or frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
