Position: Substance Abuse Case Manager (PCC)

Works with the following population
:
Male and female children, between the ages of 12 and 17, with addictive diseases.

Days & Time
:
This position will work 40 hours a week. Monday through Friday. Some Saturdays are required. This position will work from 11am to 7pm, or 12pm to 8pm.

Pay
: $33,072 per year

Job Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

  • Delivering and documenting group training, as well as crisis intervention and case management services to youth, ages 12-17, at the program or in the community.
  • Delivering person-centered, culturally sensitive, trauma-informed assessment and recovery skills using evidence-based interventions.
  • Utilizing a strength-based approach in collaborating with family systems, school staff, juvenile drug court and community partners.
  • Participating in community collaboration and treatment team meetings in support of students.
  • Maintaining client charts/documentation according to agency standards.
  • Assisting with transportation of youth to outings as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

High school diploma / GED –or– completion of a Bachelor's degree in social science (Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, or a related discipline). At least 2 years in a clinical setting providing substance abuse services to youth and families. Also, at least 2 years working or internship experience in substance abuse treatment and counseling.

Preferred Certifications
  • MAC
  • CACI
  • CACII
  • NCACI
  • CARES or eligible for certification in substance abuse within a year.

MUST have a driver's license, a personal, insured vehicle, and a clean driving record, as this position requires the transport of individuals.
