Legal & Community Advocate – Clarke County Help empower survivors of domestic violence through advocacy, support, and community collaboration.
Project Safe is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Legal & Community Advocate to support survivors of domestic violence through direct advocacy, safety planning, court accompaniment, crisis intervention, and referrals to community resources.
In addition to providing direct survivor services, this position plays a key role in building collaborative relationships with law enforcement, courts, attorneys, and other community partners to improve coordinated responses to domestic violence and ensure survivors have access to the support they need.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with survivors of domestic violence, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and a commitment to trauma-informed, survivor-centered advocacy. A background in social work, victim services, or a related field is preferred.
Salary:$46,000–$52,000 annually, based on experience
