Life Enrichment / Recreation Assistant

NHC Rossville is seeking a Life Enrichment/ Recreation Assistant to join our team and provide therapeutic programs that meet each patient's individual needs while fostering an atmosphere of fun and enjoyment. The ideal candidate is creative, energetic, compassionate, and has knowledge of wellness programming in long‑term care.

• Develop and implement a well‑rounded wellness program for Long Term Care, Memory Care, or Rehab patients as assigned (including alternating weekend and/or holiday hours).
• Complete assessments, care plans, and associated paperwork in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal programming guidelines.
• Bring a fun and engaging atmosphere to all activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Strong communication and time‑management skills.
• Team player with ability to collaborate across departments to build staff morale.
• Basic typing and computer proficiency.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Publisher for producing monthly calendars, newsletters, and marketing materials.

• Self‑motivated, creative, with a positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm.
• Ability to work with family members, partners, and community members.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
