Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice, sociology or other social services field and two years’ experience working with children and families OR a master’s degree in a social services field and one year of related experience.
- Foster care system and/or mental health experience preferred.
- Provides comprehensive case coordination for children in therapeutic foster homes
- oversees children’s emotional and mental health needs
- supports Therapeutic Foster Parents in implementing Master Service Plans
- supports birth families
- serves as liaison and advocate with community providers
- provides crisis intervention and on-call support
- maintains documentation and child records per policy and funding requirements
- processes client and foster parent data for financial purposes
- completes new admission intakes and placement moves
- participates in problem‑solving and incident management for the TFC program.
