Courier​/Feeder Agt​/DOT

Responsibilities

Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick‑up of packages; checks shipments for conformance to Fed Ex features of service; performs related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Effectively communicate verbally in a time‑sensitive manner in a noisy operations environment. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Non‑covered safety sensitive position. Medical exam required. Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned. Neat appearance required due to customer contact. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
