Supply and Distribution Technician
Starting Date: Immediately

Reports To: Manager, Supply and Distribution
Primary Function: The job supports inventory control, fixed asset tracking, fuel station operations, and efficient distribution of supplies and materials across the district. Responsibilities include receiving, storing, and delivering materials; maintaining warehouse and fueling systems; ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations; and maintaining accurate records to support accountability and operational efficiency.
Requirements- Educational Level: High School diploma or GED required.
- Driver’s License: Valid Driver’s License; ability to obtain and maintain A/B certification.
- Experience: Job‑related experience preferred. Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory systems, and fuel management preferred.

Activities:
Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, up to 50 lbs.; 40% sitting, 30% walking, 30% standing. Must follow safety protocols and is exposed to hazardous materials in fuel station operations in compliance with EPA, state, and local regulations. - Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Inventory processes, asset management, and fuel systems; safety guidelines and compliance procedures for warehouse and fuel operations; handling, storage, and transportation of supplies and equipment.
- Operating warehouse and delivery equipment (box truck, forklift, hand trucks, pallet jacks).
- Basic computer skills with inventory, asset tracking, and fuel management systems.
- Clear communication with district staff and vendors; accurate recordkeeping.
- Problem‑solving, teamwork, and emergency response.
- Daily attendance and punctuality.
- Assist in receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming deliveries of supplies and materials.
- Deliver inventory and equipment to schools and departments according to schedules, following safety guidelines.
- Enter data into the district’s inventory and asset management systems.
- Participate in physical inventory and fixed asset tagging activities.
- Maintain organized and secure storage areas.
- Communicate with school personnel and staff to confirm delivery details and resolve minor issues.
- Prepare and stage items for surplus, ensuring proper disposal and compliance with district procedures.
- Operate, service, and conduct inspections and tests on the district’s fuel station and related equipment.
- Monitor and update the fuel tracking system; coordinate fuel bids and purchasing.
- Provide training to designated staff on operational procedures and emergency protocols.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
