CDL Delivery Driver

Position Summary

The primary function of a delivery driver is to safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with company policies, Federal and State regulations, and deliver all freight undamaged. Work as a team player to deliver, load/unload materials while providing world‑class customer service.

• Inspect truck/trailer for defects for safe operation.
• Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck and unload products at commercial and residential job sites.
• Deliver materials to assigned areas as directed by the customer while prioritizing personal safety and the safety of others.
• Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations.
• Report all accidents involving the driver or company equipment.
• Lift heavy building materials up to 100+ lbs. for load/unload.
• Provide excellent customer service skills and a professional attitude.

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL). Minimum ClassB License;
  ClassA strongly preferred.
• Clear three‑year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Overall knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.

Must be able to remain in a stationary position while driving a commercial vehicle 40% of the time, lift heavy building materials up to 80lbs. for loading/unloading, frequently move materials weighing up to 80lbs., constantly operate commercial or boom vehicle, judge distance while delivering materials, communicate accurately with management and coworkers, and work continuously in an outdoor environment.
