Job Responsibilities
  • Unloads and breaks down freight (e.g., trucks, trailers, rail cars, etc.)
  • Sorts and organizes freight
  • Operates various types of material handling equipment
  • Sorts, repacks, and labels freight
  • Identifies unusable pallets
  • Uses RF scanner technology (basic ability to read, count, and use; training provided)
  • Removes items from sorting bins, scans and places them onto conveyor belts
  • Removes items from packing bins, scans items using RF scanner for accuracy, produces packing lists, and bags items
  • Operates warehouse machinery in accordance with customer standard operating procedures (e.g., bailers, trash compactors, shrink wrappers, etc.)
  • Maintains work area in a clean and hazard‑free condition
Pay

Pay Range: $16.00 – $28.00 per hour

Pay Scale: Based on productivity

Qualifications
  • Six months of warehouse experience (preferred but willing to train)
  • Work in a physically demanding warehouse environment, continuously lifting and moving up to 50 lbs
  • Warehouse material handling equipment certification preferred (e.g., electric pallet jack)
  • Meet fast‑paced productivity goals and standards
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Overtime and weekends required during peak/seasonal volumes
  • Ability to work in various climate conditions (including cooler/freezers)
  • Reliable transportation with the ability to arrive on time
  • Standing or climbing 8 to 10 hours per day
  • Effective communication skills
  • Safety shoes required
  • Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check
  • Other duties as assigned
