The Warehouse Picker covers all aspects of inventory movement through the building of designated pallets and the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles. This position picks all orders processed as assigned by Warehouse Management. The picker is responsible for 100% accuracy of the orders, verifies the order and signs the pick ticket once complete.
Responsibilities- Pick orders as assigned by Warehouse Management.
- Verify accuracy of each order and sign pick ticket.
- Ensure product is leveled after picking at the end of each shift.
- Maintain 100% pick ticket order accuracy to ensure ASN compliance.
- Build mixed pallets according to loading documentation for delivery vehicles.
- Verify date codes and maintain accuracy of pallets built.
- Load and unload trucks by hand as required by supervisor.
- May load and unload trucks by forklift if certified.
- Keep work area clean and clear of debris.
- Restock returned product.
- Handle and stack pallets and trays.
- Apply shrink wrap to completed pallets by hand or machine.
- Wear all assigned safety equipment and observe safety rules.
- Assist in general housekeeping functions within the warehouse.
- Complete other activities assigned by supervisor.

Education and Experience Education
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate);
Preferred.
- No prior experience necessary.
- Must be able to become Forklift Certified by Buffalo Rock Company.
- Requires basic knowledge of equipment and tools needed to fulfill essential tasks.
