Cost Accountant – Columbus, IN
Ready to take ownership of cost insights that directly influence business decisions? Our client is looking for a detail-driven Cost Accountant who wants to make a measurable impact while building strong cross-functional partnerships.

What you’ll do:
- Analyze product costing, variances, and inventory to ensure accuracy and insights
- Maintain and improve standard cost systems and methodologies
- Partner with operations to monitor production costs and identify efficiencies
- Support month-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare reports on margins, cost trends, and profitability
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of cost accounting or manufacturing accounting experience
- Strong understanding of standard costing and variance analysis
- Advanced Excel skills; ERP system experience preferred
