Cost Accountant

Salary: $70,000-$85,000

Key Responsibilities for the Cost Accountant:

• Maintain and update standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead

• Analyze material, labor, and overhead variances and provide recommendations

• Reconcile inventory, work-in-process, and finished goods accounts

• Support month-end close, inventory accounting, and cost reporting

• Prepare profitability and cost analysis reports for leadership

• Partner with operations to improve costing accuracy and identify efficiencies

Qualifications for the Cost Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field

• 2+ years of accounting experience

• Manufacturing industry experience required

• Cost accounting experience preferred

• Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems preferred
