Pankratz Eye Institute, a leading outpatient surgical facility dedicated to providing high-quality care and a service‑oriented environment, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Full‑Time Business Office Coordinator to join our team. As a Business Office Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth office operations.
Business Office Coordinator at Pankratz Eye Institute
The Business Office Coordinator (BOC) assists the Business Office Manager with the daily operations of the business office.
Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, able to multi‑task, flexible in assignments, maintain professional competencies, and work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team. This role will travel between our centers in Beavercreek and Englewood.

Responsibilities- Knows, adheres to, and enforces all policies of the business office
- Assist business office manager with supervising business office employees and processes
- Responsible for the orientation and training of registration and front office staff
- Responsible for taking deposits to the bank as needed; backup to the BOM
- Informs business office manager of applicable day‑to‑day situations
- Follows all equipment safety guidelines and is personally responsible for knowledgeable use and care of equipment
- Assist business manager with overall strategic planning of the business office
- Assist the Business Office Manager to develop and maintain policies & procedures and systems to minimize DSO, reduce bad debt, and increase productivity of related operations
- Perform other activities as requested by the business manager, and assume other appropriate operational responsibilities as necessary
- High school diploma
- 2+ years’ experience in medical practice or similar setting
- Computer experience desirable
