Job Title
Oversee the implementation of the district's learning management system, enhance the implementation of UDL in the district through technology tools, advise technology needs for resource adoptions, lead the district's digital citizenship initiatives, and oversee the district eLearning day plan.
Essential Functions- Improve and enhance the district's technology support of UDL.
- Manage and lead the support of the district learning management system (LMS), Canvas.
- Guide the district on use of emerging technologies like AI.
- Ensure that district technology needs are met with every resource adoption.
- Lead Tech Titans, our building EdTech leader.
- Assist with coordinating the district's virtual course offerings.
- Lead the district eLearning Day planning and coordination efforts.
- Manage the Student Services Coordinator and Enrollment Center team.
- Lead CIPA and COPPA compliance.
- Be the district lead for digital citizenship.
- Lead technology professional learning for all teachers and staff, and support integration into instruction.
- Problem-solve digital solutions for teachers and staff.
- Help plan and lead district professional development days.
- Communicate technology needs with Elementary, Secondary, and Special Education departments.
- Work with vendors to ensure that products are delivered and maintained.
- Be the district administrator for educational technology systems, including Clever, Read and Write for Google, and Canva.
- Write and manage grants such as the Indiana Department of Education digital learning grant cycles.
- Knowledge and teaching experience with UDL.
- Knowledge of how to structure and build curriculum within Canvas.
- Knowledge of G-Suite tools including docs, sheets, slides, and forms.
- Knowledge of Canva.
- Knowledge of key issues schools face with digital citizenship for students.
- Knowledge of a resource adoption process.
- Knowledge of and willingness to learn new technology like AI.
- Experience with using an online course as both a student and teacher.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Builds positive relationships with all stakeholders.
- Ability and willingness to present over technology using a variety of formats.
- Ability to carry out instructions with minimum supervision.
- Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
- Teamwork and consensus-building skills.
- Ability to supervise employees and provide clear direction, goals, and objectives in a respectful manner.
- Attention to detail, flexibility to manage interruptions, adherence to deadlines, and task prioritization.
Current Indiana Teacher's license Preferred Master's with an emphasis in Educational Technology
ExperiencePreferred 3 years teaching experience. Successful experience training others and serving as a resource in the use of technology. Experience with resource adoptions.
Terms of Employment260 working days, including 12 paid holidays Vacation days provided 40 hours per week Full benefits package Salary:
Yearly starting at $85,000
