Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills- Expertise in CAN J1939 communication protocol. Must be able to understand and interpret J1939 messaging.
- Basic understanding of how control system function.
- Strong understanding of ECU CAN J1939 communication diagnostic concepts and strategies.
- Proven background in embedded controls and CAN J1939 testing/validation.
- Understanding of control algorithm and calibration of engines parameters.
- Experience in coordination and collaborate with cross-functional teams, like system integration team, and software team.
- AUTOSAR application development would be an added advantage.
- Experience in CAN, OBD, UDS Protocols.
- Experience in handling of OEM calibration tools.
- Expertise in C Programming language.
- Skilled in communication, presentation, documentation and teamwork.
- Act as the owner for all ECM CAN J1939 related diagnostics, including completing required testing and conducting phase reviews.
- Tune, calibrate, validate and test all the ECM CAN J1939 messages required for a given EBU On-Highway engine program to seamlessly integrate with OEM ECU controllers/Smart Aftertreatment sensors/Telematics etc.
- Investigate ECM communication CAN J1939 issues related to customers/OEMs, test vehicles, or test cells, understand root causes, and recommend effective solutions while documenting outcomes clearly.
- Managing the program changes and coordinating with team.
- Support team in performing root cause analysis.
- Proven track record in technical problem-solving and quality decision-making.
Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 per annum
