Model Developer; MBD

We are seeking an experienced MBD Powertrain Calibration Engineer with strong expertise in model-based development (MBD), powertrain systems, and calibration activities. The candidate will be responsible for developing, validating, and optimizing control strategies for automotive powertrain systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement control algorithms using Model-Based Development (MBD) tools such as MATLAB/Simulink
• Perform powertrain calibration for engine, transmission, and hybrid systems
• Work on ECU development, testing, and validation (MIL, SIL, HIL environments)
• Analyze system performance and optimize calibration parameters for efficiency, emissions, and drivability
• Support integration and testing activities on vehicle and test benches
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including controls, systems, and validation engineers
• Debug and troubleshoot calibration and control issues

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Powertrain Systems (Engine / Transmission / Hybrid)
• Hands-on experience in Calibration tools such as INCA, CANape, or similar
• Expertise in MATLAB/Simulink for MBD development
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture (preferred)
• Experience with CAN communication tools
• Familiarity with MIL, SIL, HIL testing environments
• Good understanding of vehicle diagnostics and control strategies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering
• Experience working with OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
