About the Role
We are looking for a team-oriented professional who is passionate about learning and growing in the field of industrial control systems. As a Controls Engineer at Rhino Tool House, you will play a key role in designing, programming, and commissioning industrial control systems across a diverse range of industries. You will have the opportunity to develop and implement new technologies while contributing to innovative projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, troubleshoot, and optimize electrical control circuits.
- Develop and test software for PLC, HMI, and other control systems.
- Lead system commissioning at customer sites, ensuring seamless installation and functionality.
- Collaborate closely with customers to ensure systems meet all technical requirements and specifications.
- Manage multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction and continued support.
- Provide service and technical support to customers as needed.
- Update and maintain project documentation, ensuring all information is current and accurate.
- Experience with PLCs, HMIs, Robotics and related industrial control systems.
Rockwell / Fanuc is preferred. - Good understanding of AutoCAD, EPlan, or other electrical design software.
- Good understanding of NEC/ANSI/UL electrical standards.
- Knowledge of industrial safety circuit design.
- Motivated self-starter with a keen desire to learn and grow in a technical role.
- 2+ years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience in a similar role.
