Job DescriptionTechnical/Functional Skills
• Complete systems engineering of a new feature for Product Connectivity e.g. Automotive ECM Telematics
• Ability to work cross-functionally and take into account voice of customer and business into the system evaluation
• Generate end-end system requirement by performing thorough FMEA, QFD and all other aspect of systems engineering
• Conduct review of the system design and requirement once the analysis is complete
• Based on the results of the evaluation and requirements the future of the project will be determined
• Work cross functionally; IT, Electronics product development team and Data Analytics team to evaluate end-end system architecture and impact analysis for a new Product Connectivity feature
• Must have good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to effectively work as part of a global team
• Self-motivated, learner attitude and able to perform duties with minimal supervision
Experience Required- Experience with Cummins Processes and Tools preferable
- Extensive experience of systems engineering and requirement generation
- Knowledge of Cloud and IT data transmission, processing and storage
- Knowledge/experience in Datalink's communication and datalink protocol in automotive domain (CAN – J1939, UDS etc)
- Good team player and ability to work cross-functionally
- Excellent Communication and documentation skills
- 5+ years of professional experience
Candidates must have at least Bachelor's engineering degree in Electrical
