* ** In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:*
* + Drive product quality, performance, and reliability by executing engine, component, system, and controls testing that validates designs and supports the development of high-performing products.

+ Generate data-driven insights and recommendations by configuring data acquisition systems, analyzing test results, developing analysis tools, and translating findings into actionable engineering decisions.

+ Lead comprehensive test execution activities by designing test plans, configuring test programs, conducting testing, documenting results, and delivering clear conclusions and recommendations.

+ Diagnose and resolve technical challenges by identifying root causes of engine, component, system, control, and test cell issues and implementing effective corrective actions to keep projects moving forward.

+ Support product development through hands-on technical expertise by building, instrumenting, inspecting, measuring, modifying, and validating engines and components throughout the testing lifecycle.

+ Improve operational efficiency and engineering processes by leading continuous improvement initiatives, maintaining quality procedures, participating in audits, and implementing best practices that enhance testing effectiveness.

+ Strengthen cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing by working closely with engineers, suppliers, customers, technicians, and apprentices to align priorities, solve problems, and develop team capability.

+ Ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality test operations by adhering to safety standards, protecting confidential information, coordinating testing activities, and maintaining accurate documentation that supports successful project outcomes.

** To be successful in this role you will need the following:*
* + Prioritize safety in everything you do by championing proactive health and safety practices, identifying risks early, and helping create an injury-free testing environment.

+ Execute testing with precision and technical excellence by ensuring proper test setup, test article builds, equipment calibration, and data acquisition processes that generate reliable and trustworthy results.

+ Leverage strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to diagnose issues, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurring problems that could impact product performance or test quality.

+ Analyze and communicate data effectively by producing clear, accurate reports that enable engineers, customers, and stakeholders to make informed decisions based on test outcomes.

+ Manage complex technical challenges with confidence by interpreting test requirements, troubleshooting equipment and systems, and making sound decisions in fast-paced and demanding environments.

+ Drive results with initiative and accountability by taking ownership of testing activities, adapting to new challenges, meeting commitments, and consistently delivering high-quality outcomes.

+ Support operational excellence through maintenance and data quality by applying preventive and predictive maintenance practices, ensuring equipment readiness, and maintaining high standards of data integrity.

+ Collaborate effectively across diverse teams by communicating clearly, valuing different perspectives, mentoring others when appropriate, and building strong partnerships with engineers, technicians, suppliers, and customers.

Certifications:

* + High school diploma, GED or equivalent required with Department of Labor Certification OR Associates degree from an accredited program in a related field and at least two years of relevant experience OR Bachelors degree in a related field.
