Shipping Planner

As a Shipping Planner, you will bridge the gap between Sales/Customer Service and Warehouse Operations by preplanning shipments in customer portals and releasing shipments to the warehouse. This role ensures orders are shipped on time and in compliance with customer requirements.

• Reviewing routing/ship dates and planning shipments to our warehouses thru customer’s routing and direction.
• Resolving issues and Days late report with our warehouse, carriers, customer traffic departments and DJG/Cosco CSR.
• Maintain up to date customer routing guides and review changes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education, Licenses, and/or Certification Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years in transportation, distribution, or customer service

Experience and Skills

• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
• Must have sales presentation experience to support key account presentations with technical information to expedite decisions.
• Must be proactive and a self-motivator that can deliver results.
• Proficiency in managing multiple tasks concurrently and performing well under pressure.
• Ability to work cohesively with multiple teams and develop solutions by engaging internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate, read, and write in English.
