Your mission, roles and responsibilities
  • Compliance with corporate tax obligations, mainly IMSS, INFONAVIT, and state taxes.
  • Reports on social security and local taxes.
  • Service/support for internal and external clients.
  • Management of procedures with different authorities (employee registration and dismissal) and handling of legal requirements (IMSS, INFONAVIT, FINANCE).
  • Calculation and validation of employer-employee contributions (SUA) and local taxes (ISN) in accordance with the law.
  • Calculation and review of salary integration and variability for IMSS purposes (SBC, anniversaries, affiliation changes).
  • Calculation and validation of payroll taxes (income tax by period, income tax on bonuses, annual adjustment, PTU, social security contributions).
  • Determination and validation of occupational risk premiums.
  • Submission of ISN returns, six-monthly returns, iCSOE, SISUB, and REPSE information returns.
  • Comparison of social security contributions vs. payroll system.
  • Management of government portals: IMSS, INFONAVIT, FINANZAS, IDSE, SAT, mailboxes, etc.
  • Reconciliation of amortizations and credit clarifications with INFONAVIT.
  • Attention to IMSS requirements, procedures before social security authorities and local taxes.
  • Accounting reconciliation of provisions vs. expenses and payments.
  • Validation of the tax treatment of exempt and taxable items for income tax, payroll stamping.
  • Monitoring of compliance opinions, IMSS mailbox, disabilities, etc.
  • SAP management for payroll tax-related processes.
Your profile and competencies to succeed
  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in the automotive industry or accounting firms, with at least 2 years working at Big 4 firms.
  • Proficiency in payroll taxes.
  • Tax treatment of exempt and taxable items for ISR, payroll stamping, CFDI.
  • Calculation and validation of employer-employee contributions (SUA) and local taxes (ISN) in accordance with the law.
  • Calculation and validation of payroll taxes (ISR by period, ISR on bonuses, annual adjustment, PTU, social security contributions).
  • Calculation, review of salary integration and variability for IMSS purposes (SBC, anniversaries, affiliation movements)
  • Advanced Excel (complex databases)
  • General accounting knowledge
  • Filing of tax returns, management of government portals
  • SAP management for payroll processes desirable
  • English desirable
