Financial Manager
Our client, a growing and well‑established construction and structural steel organization, is seeking an experienced Controller to lead the company's accounting and financial operations. This position is a highly visible leadership role responsible for overseeing financial reporting, job cost accounting, cash management, budgeting, lender reporting, and operational financial performance.
Role OverviewThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, structural steel, fabrication, or project‑based manufacturing environments and possess deep expertise in job costing, work‑in‑process (WIP) accounting, percentage‑of‑completion revenue recognition, and financial management of complex projects.
Key Responsibilities- CPA designation required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior‑level finance or accounting position.
- Proven experience in the construction and steel industry is a must.
- Proficiency in Vista ERP required.
- Extensive experience with month‑end close processes.
- Strong understanding of economic and banking processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
- Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate analyses.
